Looking good, love the plan with the live rock in the sump. I've also concluded that I would rather control what goes in the tank and what doesn't ...Water clearing up nicely.

Using existing rock to seed the new tank. Isolating it to keep the any unwanted pests out.

We're always learning from our past experiences. As far as I know my existing rock only have your usual bristles, copepod, fireworms, etc.Good idea on the rock and I love that tank!!! Back in the 80s the Florida rock we got was LOADED with mantis shrimp. Needless to say, my triggers ate quite well and grew VERY fast. You can never be too careful when it comes to live rock, take it from me, it's a pain in the ass to get stuff out rather than keeping it out.
That's just a temporary return tube tied down so the hose can't move around. the Loc Line should be here today.Looking good, love the plan with the live rock in the sump. I've also concluded that I would rather control what goes in the tank and what doesn't ...
What is with the rock zip tied to a tube?
