Too Much Coral Feed.
Hey guys. I'm just wondering if there is such a thing as too much coral food in the water column. I feed my corals both goniopower, and red.seas amino acid two part dovie. Then I stired up the sandbed a little. Is this too much. Or will the corals only take in what they want??

I don't believe there is such thing as too much, but there is such thing as poor water quality which will happen if you put too much stuff in the water. If your parameters are remaining fine, shouldn't be too much harm?

I think the corals what only eat what they need, but you risk an algae outbreak if you are putting too much food i.e. nutrients, in the tank.

I think the softy LPS luv it however in terms of SPS, I think there is a fine line between too much and just enough. Too much nutrient or poorly dosed supplements can brown out SPS very quickly i.e. my tank for two years, killed SPS color with too much attention !
