    My blue tang woke up with a growth that looks like ring worm on humans but I cannot for the life of me identify this sucker and help

    It's a bit hard to tell from the picture - does it look like a growth, or something that's attached to the body of the fish?

    Hippo tangs are always on the move and they get bumps and scrapes. If there's nothing growing out of it, keep an eye on it.

    I agree. It's probably a bump, hope it's eased off and that your tang is doing better now.
