A realized I haven't updated this in a little while. All the photos are from my iPhone so very low quality. I need to set up a second tank to move some of the corals into. The hammers are just to large I think. The container filled with rubble has my ric in it. I've been waiting over a month for it to attach and it hasn't yet, how long should it take?

The ric should have attached by now ... Is it just floating around?

I wouldn't say floating, it sits in the same spot all the time, it just hasn't attached.

I was having trouble with a wandering fungia, I gently squished it into a sheltered hole on the leeward side of a rock where the current wouldn't buffet it around. Maybe in the bucket it's so protected by the container that it thinks it's safe enough and is being a lazy arse because all the hard work has been done for it. Stick it in a little hole and I bet you it will attach itself properly and poke out to say hullo.
