Watch Your Glass
After I've taken my kids to school and work each morning, I like to sit with a cuppa and watch reefing videos, mostly on Youtube. Actually it was watching the BRS #160 - 52 Weeks of Reefing that started this habit. Anyway this morning I came across a video on cleaning your glass (or acrylic) and I thought why not, you never know what you might pick up.
Well despite having been in the aquaria hobby for 40 years, I did learn some new things and thought that this might be especially worthwhile for all reefers but particularly newer ones. I'm one of these 'PITA'* types that can't keep my hands out of the tank but after watching this I think I'm going to have one less reason to get my hands wet.
Currently I use this great little tool that I got for $10 from Naqua and it works really well and cannot scratch your glass. But after watching this video I think I might upgrade, although I'll keep the 'InTank' and use it too.
