Which Is The Best Zeo Reactor Out There?
Hey Guys,

Going ZEO on my new tank build and curious to see those who are using or heard of ZEO reactors that are really good.

ive seen a few that you can automate the shaking of the ZEO rocks although im happy to do this myself but would prefer a product that did it.

post pics/links/videos anything :)

I use one from fishstreet.com
Works well not auto-shaking up it's pretty easy to shake each time you dose and has the magnetic base so it's easy to shake

When you say "when you dose" do you mean manually dosing the zeo products?

@NiCd was actually telling me about this product looks really cool.

i have a few questions for you though...

have you used one yourself?
what size pump do you need for one of these or does it come with one?
can you automate the VIBE mode thing?

Hey @leodb89
Sorry for the late reply mate, the world hates me the last few months lol.
No I havent used one yet mate as the 220v version has not been released as yet.
I am tempted to get a 110v just to get it up & running to see how well they work.
Like any reactor, the flow rate required will be determined by what media you are using & how much. :)
Thanks @NiCd, yep the principle as the Swabbie, just plug it into a good quality timer.

I have a KZ Magnetic zeo reactor, tank isn't up running yet but it seems to be really good quality. Im still not sure if im going to go zeo so if your after one let us know.
I have put it in some fresh water just to test it out and it is completely silent with brand new ehime pump. The aquabee one that came with it was quite noisy.

is it an auto one? or do you need to shake the stones?

You need to shake the stones, the auto ones are over 2k. With the magnets it is really easy to shake them and makes it alot less work than the other brands like vertex and skimz.
Cheers
