interesting stuff today, i got the blue chinese led's and they worked on these drivers, im going to try and have another go with the reds at a later date.

Not sure why that would have happened :confused:

2 red leds would not have exceeded the voltage output of the driver and there would not be any significant difference, I assume, in the forward voltage of the blue and red leds.

well im likeing these blues, a lighter colouring of them, they arnt as deep of a blue as the bridgelux royal blues, and two of them easily light my tank up for a night light, but a little to bright im thinking.
What type of cords can i use to connect the driver??? i have heaps of spare pc power cords would they work?? (to the 240v powerboard)

Any 240v cable will be fine as these drivers don't use much current - just make sure the connections are well protected/insulated.

Thanks, will let you know, im thinking of setting them up on progressive timers now that i have 3 different levels. Night then Royal Blues then whites, and opposite in their way off
