I have a bigger one in my tank but can not catch him

I have had Eunice worms up to 70cm long and a bearded fire-worm 30-40cm long by 2.5cm wide. I could really use one of those traps. I have never had success with coke bottles etc. I have a small fire-worm atm that I would love to get out before he grows. The only way I have achieved it is removing the rocks and soaking them in fresh water, peroxide, vinegar... anything that will kill the worms. They tend to seek the nearest exit after that.
