Diy Led And Smart Ato Done!
Will edit this with more info once I'm not on a phone! But basically, setup a DIY LED (huge thanks to @rockerpeller for the LEDs, driver and inspiration!)

Anyway, setup the lights and the smart ato that @hoangii organised a group buy for all with the wires and piping hidden to keep everything as eat as possible.

I'm pretty stoked with the result so far, sometimes I surprise myself :)

Will put some live rock in tomorrow and start the scape! Oh and get a little plastic elbow for the ato fill point out if the frame.

Click on thumbnails for full size pic :)

LEDs, driver, power supply, sand, tank, heater were all free (tank and heater I already had, rest kindly donated). Perspex was cut to size and supplied for $10, glue was $5, materials for frame were $14 and heatsink for LEDs was $6.

So $35 all up so far :)

I posted this on the other forum, so thought I would flood your monitors with more pictures too :)
I dropped a bit a green acan (which has a pretty chunky skeleton/rock base) in to give the poor little pistol somewhere to hide and to really start to get some biological filtration going on.

Well I guess I have to now :p It'll be my new year project as I'm going away over Jan so getting someone to manage one reef tank will be enough I think haha I'm thinking it'll definitely have to be a white banded possum wrasse (Wetmorella albofasciata) for the single fish :)
