This tank is going to be a back to basics .
No dosing / no skimmer just 5% water changes every other day.
Should be 20-25% a week.
All I have in the tank for filtration is some Micro algae and live rock.
the over flow was going to drop into a container or a 2 ft tank but ATM I have shut it off and have a return pump in the overflow box.
lets see how it goes .
as you can see its already near full with SPS ...lol

Hey Leo , this tank is a bit neglected, so I had to add a skimmer that pulled out a tone of crap even without fish in the tank . a lot of the SPS started to fade because the water changes were often enough to replace the essentials ingredients . So I have to dose Alk/Cal & magnesium. So the back to basics didn’t work for me....lol
On my main tank I have done the same with just a skimmer and CHeato & a dosing pump for the vital 3 and its been doing great .......touch wood
From most the tanks I see around these days thats basic....lol
