LED install
Alright, finally have my LED's up and running! After having some dramas with the stock "Steve's LED's" driver, I paid a visit to the incredibly helpful @Synodontis who helped me out with some meanwell drivers, a driver board and even some extra LEDs (2 cyan, 2 violet) to complete the setup.
Fitted up the extra LEDs to the existing rig first:
Then took the factory hood off and started stripping it:
Added the new rig in place of the power compacts:
Added in the new driver board:
Ran all the wires, plugged it all in and hey presto, it works!!! (ok, I did bench test it many times before putting all back on the tank. Later this afternoon I'll post a picture of it up and running as the lights dont start till about lunch time. I've turned the blue channel back to 70% as Im just not used to that much blue yet. Very happy with end result :)
