It's that time again to post acro porn.
So here goes a couple of quick morning shots I took today with my phone. Things are going just fine in the tank. The new fish from Melbourne have settled in well.
The dottybacks are dotty as , only ever see one swimming at a time as they seem to hole themselves up in crab holes. Managed to score four Nass snails, the type I've been on the lookout for for two years so happy with that.
General water parameters:
temp 23-26
Salinity 1.025
Ca 380
Mg 1800
KH 7.7 -8.2
Potassium 420
Iodide 0.02 -0.06
NO3 -0
PO4 -0

Daily dose 1ml Monopotassium Phosphate 3gram diluted in 500ml RODI 1ml 0.01 solution
Daily dose 1ml Potassium Nitrate
15gram diluted in 500ml RODI
1ml 0.05 solution
Daily dose 1ml Salifert trace hard
Daily dose 1ml Koral colour
Daily dose 2 drop Lugols
Daily feeding four times on auto feeder.
Daily 1 cube brine or 50/50 baby brine lobster eggs.
40 liters water change per week.

I'm right back into Trace and Plus and already in 1 week I can see an improvement in the corals :D

Well I'd say you've got your finger on it Nils ;) Glad to see the acro's doing so well and the fish getting nice and fat! They must be LOVING all that food :D lol hopefully it'll help with the super low nutrients a bit :)

Looks amazing mate, seems that colour code is slowly cracking!
All the colours contrast really well with their neighboring corals.
Reckon the colours might saturate some more as the feeding and bioload increases?

Thanks mate, tweaking things to try crack the code. I have backed right off the Phos and Nitrate dosing to 1ml per day and double dosed Amino acid twice a day and added double dose twice day sponge power.
