Auto Feeder Recommendations?
I'm going to be away from home more than usual and I'm looking into auto feeder recommendations, both positive and negative. I'll be feeding pellets.

Note I don't have the option of someone to do it for me.

No. I reckon the air pump would be a plus, only if you run the feeder full time or if there ae splash on the feeder.
I run usually for 20 days periods and the pellets are still dry when I come back.

Love my ehiem

I use 2 which feed the tank a total of 16 times daily (8 each). If the battery goes flat in 1 the tank is still feed (which is the main reason I have 2). They have worked faultlessly for years and have never clogged. There is a small fan that runs on the back when the drum rotates to push a little air through the pallet container each time it feeds.
