Change In Reef Scape, New Corals... And Torch Coral Problems.
I made the decision yesterday that I wasn't happy with the scape of the reef... It was too flat and continued to look as if it was collapsing.
So I went out and bought 2 kg of live rock to build some height. I removed all the coral except for the toadstool... and built up the rock and added to coral, adjusted the direction of the powerhead and I am so happy!
I bought three new corals this weekend to supplement the change.
I got:
The button and ric are going really well. Although the torch coral...
I put it in the tank and it was obviously quite closed... but then its mouths opened... like wide open... a bit of brown stuff came out... and then one of the mouths shut and the other two remained open. Then the two open ones opened REALLY wide and then closed again and then its slightly open now. What's going on? All the other corals are going really well.... except for the leather... he is just being a drama queen.

- Ricordea
