Corals
Thought I should update with some new additions and slowly add decent pics of what's already there

Beautiful additions from @Reeflections Aquarium -

All on the one piece! I've been wanting to get the type of softie on the right for a while. And finally, something RED. I hope it lives.

Not sure what the red 'stuff' is.... monti?

Some sort of button sized scolly or button coral? + zoos. Very nice bit of rock!

This pic does not do the zoos justice, beautiful blues, greens and yellows in there.

Wow that is a nice find, proper 'garden rock'! Yep looks like a nice red encrusting monti.

Can't see the colour of the zoas properly but I trust you that they are amazing :p

Bought some corals and fish off a tank shutdown yesterday. The corals had been in the tank approx 2 years and had really thrived. The secret? weekly religious 10% water changes, a carbon and phos reactor and a skimmer; top ups with RO. That was it. I cannot argue with his results he had amazing growth, coloration and health.

Photos under actinic t5's

The chalice (top left) and zoo frags (purple people eaters in middle hard to see) from the MASOV frag swap day. Zoa plug from the always lovely @naqua / @chimaera . Zoas to the right (green) and red in the middle have completely taken off and look amazing (thanks @Fragalicious !). Morphs are all my personal stash from the prop tanks.

Morphs (red/orange with yellow edges). These are getting propagated asap!

Cheers, you know I live in the gutter right? Making this even worse is the hair algae around it. A true hairy clam.

The actinic lights a little too purple for my taste. Will be adding a blue in today. Clam has come out more today which is great!

Some pics today. You can see the extent of my nutrient issues (bubble algae). I think I doubled up by dosing aminos and lots of frozen feeds and nualgi. Bubble algae took off as soon as nualgi stimulated a bacterial bloom. I've also started seeing cyano breaking out over the last week.

I started biopellets today to help reduce the bacterial load. I'm also reducing light hours. Put in a scribbled rabbitfish who was cleaning up bubble algae in the QT (had to see if it worked first). Seems a bit shy now it's in with the larger group of fish so I haven't seen it out and about.

The mandarin I added last week is happily hunting in and out of the rocks all day which is nice to see.

This frag has grown quite a bit! Original frags were from @Sarg

Got this chalice off Reeflections a month or so ago. Still haven't found anywhere to put it!

This one has expanded a heap by having its own corner

Another beautiful coral from @Sarg, haven't had a goni in years so I'm loving having such a beautiful tank-hardened specimen.

The chalice met the symphilia and in a battle of stingers, lost sadly. The loser retreated to heal its wounds, the symphilias pride swells as does its flesh.

It's been a big year for me with work and so the tank has not received as much love and attention. I've been watching thr nem I have for some time now as it had started to look like it was wanting to go two ways. Sure enough overnight it has split after approx 2+ years in the same spot!

I've lost a few corals to slime and a few sps to STN. Cyano has reduced on its own but I'd not completely gone. Fish are doing well. Will be dedicating a bit of time over the summer to upgrading some equipment and trying to setup auto top ups and water changes (fingers crossed!).
