Hi guys,

Many moons ago i remember reading a webpage that basically broke all the Major LED units down into what LED's were actually offered (making a "DIY shoppping list" of sorts).

Has any seen the same (and hopefully have it book marked so they can share the link).

The time has come to replace my 5.1's with a slight upgrade and I just want to compare what's offered on the 5.2 chips - they can be customised within reason.

I did trawl through nano-reefs this week looking for it as I know what your referring to but cannot remember where it is now.

So you'll have to wing-it yourself by the looks of the responses to date :(

I do nothing fast. Probably put the order in for 6 chips tomorrow or Tuesday. Feel like some soldering later in the week?

Yeap - was just deciding to take them "as is" or swap a few out. At least being local I hope for better support should something go wrong with them.

Yeap. Its about a 2-3 day turn around. They said they could customise it if I wanted to swap some colours in/out but I am starting to think about not tinkering with it at all. Just buying them "as is".

I already have the bluefish mini and 2 x 6Up drivers at home waiting.....

The guys have been really good. When I have rung they are always happy to spend 5 mins of the phone chatting. I get the impression it's a somewhat small shop/outfit. They are only 10 mins drive from work so no issue there.
