haha it's completely safe for the tank :) I leave everything on while dosing it but in your case I'd flick the ATS off till the snow clears a little not because of damage but just to make sure it doesn't dry out on the scrubber :)i realise that slin.
afraid because it looks like its going to cause a disaster
turn off ATS, Return Pump, hydroPure, Skimmer?
then turn skimmer and return pump on?
will it drop phospate?
I'm almost certain it has some lanth in it, so could drop Phos a touch?haha it's completely safe for the tank :) I leave everything on while dosing it but in your case I'd flick the ATS off till the snow clears a little not because of damage but just to make sure it doesn't dry out on the scrubber :)
It won't drop phos as it works more like a carbon than anything else but your water will be gloriously crystal clear :)
You could be right! I was wondering how I got the tell tale lanth scum ring at the surface of my brand new tank.I'm almost certain it has some lanth in it, so could drop Phos a touch?
Had seen that before, was hoping someone trustable would test it for me though :)http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/364821-diy-kz-coral-snow-with-97-purity/
According to these guys, Coral Snow is just CaCO3
" Organics adhere to its surface, as do particulates, acting as a flocculent, being easily removed via protein skimming or small micron mechanical filtration. This leads to unparalleled water clarity."
