So the tank finally has some life in it. @Alex Blake gave me a nice ric, some silver zoas and green zoas and also a tiny green toadstool frag. I also managed to pick up a whole pile of snails off a fellow reefer. So all in all it's looking good. Here some pics, sorry for the poor quality, still trying to learn how to use the DSLR effectively and had to take these on iphone.

So quick final question. Any tips for taking pics with a DSLR?

Tank looks great - that's a good sensible start. Keep the pics coming as it grows. :)

I got a lot of satisfaction out of starting with similar corals to yours. That rics looks nice and that toadstool will look great when it grows a little and extends its polyps. I'm a big fan of small toadstools with wavy fluoro green polyps.
