August is upon us and I'm fighting mass shitty algae ...
Growth in the tank has slowed right down and sadly the tally of white skeletons is at four. Strawberry shortcake, red tabling , my beloved purple and red Millie's both gone.

So I have sorted out my problems by getting a skimmer , this no doubt will improve the condition of the tank.

Put the Ehiem 1260 back into service to increase flow though the sump as I had very stagnant water sitting in the coast to coast and sump.

Magnesium was a bit down in testing so I'll adjust that- rest params are spot on .

Let's hope for a turn around in this battle.

Hope you pull through it. Ive been battling cyano for ages but im starting to get the upper hand.
Fixed my magnesium, dosing heaps now and heaps of water changes.

Thanks Tan, will be water changing today just 20 liters as the tank is sensitive ATM .
