Well I think it was more of a fluke than anything else. The only food he will it is pellets because the settle on the bottom, he is too slow to catch frozen food and flakes.
I got him from a friend who set up a tank but had to shut it down. He was already nice and fat from pods and after a couple of weeks of dropping pellets where he hangs out he just started eating them.

How much was he and what pellets are you feeding him?
I think you can pick them up for around $50, make sure they are fat because they often won't eat in the shop.
It's eating nls and ocean nutrition algae pellets ( I think that is the correct name)
