My Tank So Far
20160110_135530.jpg 20160110_135510.jpg 20160110_135435.jpg 20160110_135346.jpg 20160110_135334.jpg I have an aqua one 120 litre with a sump tank. Bought as a complete set up which included the moray 2300 pump a proskim g216 skimmer a heater and mariglo light fitting consisting of blue and white leds.

I added to this a glass and digital thermometer. A fine gravel bed. And 17.5 kilos of live rock. And obviously salt water. The pics from my first set up are at present on my old mobile but here are some pics from this week.

I thought my tank had been running for 4 weeks but it has only been up and running 3 weeks. Definitely feels longer..

Nice! I love the space at the front - nice and open.

Although only thing I'll say which I wish I knew early - make sure you make spaces where corals will comfortably sit instead of being balanced and where they can get plenty of light!

Looking forward to following this!

Looks good.

Just a suggestion that I learned the hard way. Make sure you have enough room to get an algae scraper, mag float etc in between the rock and the glass.

Yep, as above.
Try and move you rock work away from the front and side glass with enough room to use whatever glass cleaner/scraper you have.
Rock up against the back wall is fine.
All looks good.

Yes i have just made some minor adjustment to be able to fit the multi scraper cleaner thing down the sides.

Have to say, great job on your first scape! Looks fantastic :) Also good that you've heeded advice about having rock on the glass too, it makes life soo much easier when you can get your scraper everywhere :)

I'll definitely be tagging along to see your progress :)

Thanks wrangy. I love your set up.
Much to my husbands dismay i am already looking at getting another slightly smaller tank the 90litre aqua one. But i need to walk before i can run.
