Hi everyone,

It is unfortunate that I need to post this video up, as things like this should have never happened in the first place. This has been going on for some months now, but only really came to light recently.

The Internet is the only place on earth where users are able to access any information they would like without the media interfering or the governments censoring things they do not want the public to know about. It is every human beings only, and last avenue of true freedom of speech.

We must always protect the Internet - no matter what.

omg!! I just turned the news on now and they're reporting on Austar that 3-4 NZ residents have been arrested in relation to the Megaupload website - they are being extradited to the US to be charged!!!!

And if they think this is bad, I suspect this is only tame to what would happen if SOPA happened.

It is just a small inconvenience. But things like this must not be allowed to pass.

If you want a glimpse of the Internet if laws like this go through, simply turn your monitor off.

Warrants were issued for 7 people, with search warrants issued across 8 countries - keep in mind that this was after a 2 year investigation and happened without SOPA and PIPA. Mega's problem was that they actually stored the files on their servers, unlike systems like Usenet.
