I've notixced in the last few weeks, that the text editor is removing line breaks once the text is posted. Not all but some, thus effectively removing praragraph formatting. Seems to only be an issue with longer posts.

Then if I edit the post to put them back, the line breaks do not show up/seem to be working, in edit mode but are there when it is saved. It's driving me nuts. Correction...nuttier

Is this when pasting text or typing it all out? The editor has had problems with formatting when pasting text.

The next major upgrade will be replacing the editor, this should fix a lot of problems.

Actually now I think about it, it's when pasting. However as in my last post under white spot, I had typed several paragraphs, entered a couple of line breaks, then cut & pasted below. It unformatted everything.

Yeah I think pasting retains some of the source code behind the formatting, which screws things up.

As TR said, the new editor should sort that nicely ;)
