[The Reefuge]

Hello everyone,

Due to recent events, and poor planning on our behalf, the Tank Of The Quarter has been canceled. However, this was not necessarily just a bad thing, as the staff have discussed the issues and come up with a relatively original idea that will work well for our community. It is now going to be monthly. Below, explains how the new system works and the rules.

Rules

• Staff members are not allowed to participate in competitions. Their job here is to ensure the community runs smoothly, and to help develop it. As a staff member, it is a voluntary job, and thus staff members willingly forfeit their right to enter competitions. However, they are allowed to participate in programs and trading.
• The content team ARE allowed to participate in the competition.
• Members are not allowed to nominate their own tank to be in the competition. The tank must be nominated by other members of the community.
• Members running in the competition are not allowed to ask, or hint for other members to vote for them.
• Members nominated must include a brief description of their tank once nominated.

System

First TOTM​

• For the first ever TOTM there will be five nominations chosen by The Reefuge staff alone.
• Members will have from the first day of the month to vote the winner in. Once the winner is chosen the polls close (last day of the month).

Second TOTM and all after​

• The previous four nominations remain in the competition.
• The community will have from the first day of the month to nominate a single tank they believe should be in the competition. They will have seven days to do this. The tank with the most nominations wins. In case of a draw, the staff members will select one of the top tanks.
• The winning tank will then be placed into the TOTM competition, bringing the total back up to five.
• The polls will immediately open, and members will have until the last day of the month to vote for the winning tank.

This is a fair system, and will work well in our community. TOTM will begin in on July 1st.
