Started dosing vinegar 4 days ago, up to 4ml, adding .5ml every other day until I reach 10ml, then a holding pattern until the new upflow filtre seeds and starts doing its thing, stay tuned for more crazyness from us, lol.

how do you administer the Vinegar? are you using a dosing pump or just straight into the sump?

I dump mine through the weir when the lights are on.

I'm looking at doing it to bring my Nitrates down

It's definitely worth it. just be sure the vinegar you're using is 5%. Ramp up the dosage slowly, dose ONLY when the lights are on and make damn sure you have lots of flow in your sump. Low flow in your sump will make slimy shit grow in there, I've had it and so has Lesely.
