We Have Light!
Today I worked on several things.
Fixing the little nitty grittys with the insights from the last thread. I have managed to raise the water level in the overflow to a dribble in the emergency Herbie overflow. Also Added a longer pipe to reduce the slushing noise. And Taken out the floss and replaced this with a sock.

Now for the Radions. I scored 2 gen 2 pro radions second hand. They were in very good condition. With a wipe down and clean they looked new again. To hang them, I went DIY instead on spend another 100 on the rail kit. Bunnings cost 8 dollars.
One rectangular aluminum rail was enough, drilled some holes, painted black, HEY PRESTO looked like the ecotech ones.

At this stage, Im letting the tank runs its short cycle with the live rock. Now just waiting....

The reservoir for RO water are made up of 2 Bunnings jerry cans, Connected the two with some sort of threaded coupling. But worked a treat. I will be connecting up the ATO today.

That's a great idea with the bunnings jerries to get a reasonable water volume into a tight space, never thought of connecting them together

Thanks! Make it easier when Jerry cans have a removable tap outlet.

I'm with magic, a dust flap would be clever. Also make sure the lid on your rear jerry isn't too tight or it won't fill due to trapped air.

Yep putting on a flap. I also loosed the cap on the other jerry before sliding it at the back

I was wondering before at the wide gap to the wall , and since ,it makes sense seeing the RO in place -
I love it when a plan comes together.

You could drill a 6mm hole in the top of the handle and tighten the screw cap. My 2 cents
