which pump for chiller?
hey wondering which pump to use for chiller Hailea 150a i have an eheim compact 2000+ but might be a little too much for it...looking for somethin compact and quiet

the length of host between the pump n chiller will be about 1.5-2m

That will be a little to much.. I run a 1200 on my 150a and it is a little much.. but I live in CQ, so i would say upto 1200lph in NSW.. 800 - 1000 would be ideal

Save buying another pump just put a tee piece on the input line and put a tap on the end so you can adjust the flow. Also if you dump the tee'd off water back into you skimmer chamber to get skimmed again lol I have a compac 2000 here and am thinking of doing the same instead of buying a 1000

I have about the same length.. the recommended flow rate is 200l to 1200l.
worst case scenario you use the pump you have and see if it works, if not you need a new pump or do as suggested above..
I honestly think the flow will be to much to get a good heat exchange.. but it doesn't hurt to try..
