Hey guys,

I need a Zeo officianado to help me out with something. The new direction with Zeovit is to use either Spongepower or Coralvitilizer in combination with Zeobak, but the use of Zeofood7 is still recommend in their guide and they still sell it as part of the system. I am confused... Can someone please tell me why Zeofood7 is no longer recommend?

Both SP and CV are equally good.
In very simple terms CV for colour and SP for growth.

I never used Zeo 7 , there is no need for that . Not sure if anyone uses it.

You will get growth and colour from CV if you use that alone.

In my first Zeo tank Aitutaki dreams I used CV and SP at that time I did not think much of SP. Second experiment Glow Sticks I used SP and Bac only I was getting rapid growth and good colour. Never got to see that tank fill out unfortunately.

My thoughts would be to push the limits first with SP and then when you finally can't get more out your corals , get a NYE fireworks explosion from the CV ( which will happen )
