OK, I am putting it out there for ideas on wave maker choices, positions on the glass.
My first mock up of the base rock had me build a two bommie terrace that was loosly tied together in the middle.
I had thought of putting in three MP10s, one on the back glass a third from the bottom in the middle and a MP10 on each side on the smaller side glass panels.

Any ideas, regarding scaping and wave maker selection would be appreciated, thanks

I have scaped the tank, have to say that Speedglue was dissapointing to work with. It is basically using a coloured cement, I would prefer to use some sort of epoxy in the future...

Hurry up nils you have been taking forever :drool
ill have to come visit when its running!
I know its taken way too long. In reality been exacty the schedule that was mapped out for the tank build.
I am really happy with the size of the tank too. Its going to be practical and manageable too.

Matt you can only come round if you are carrying some frag bags in your hand.:D

What is the final colour? Red?

Can you raise the cladding a bit to cover the foam base, base glass and silicon join?

Not much water in there yet :)

The final colour for the stand is red.

Good call, here is my solution, 19mmx 19mm and this trim is painted black.

I would actually go a bit higher if you can - always difficult to clean all the algae from the silicon join so ideally you would cover a couple of mm above the silicon. Double what you have got should do the job. Also the sand bed often gets a bit dirty below the surface and you don't want to detract from the tank itself.

This is Matt's tank as en example

It looks like he has used about a 50mm edging which hides the silicon join and most of the sand bed.

Ok 19mm times two it will be (19mmx 38mm) , I will go out and get another length. I tried 19mmx 41mm (standard cut size) but thats way too high. This gives me 3mm above silicone ...
I will have no gravel in this tank (current thought is BB)
Your thoughts always appreciated...
