Some photos by the aandtsociety from our club collecting trips
One of the guys here thought some content of this nature, the marine aquarium species collecting that the (aandtsociety) marine group carry out, might be interesting as content for some forum folk here to check out.
Hopefully there won’t be any tossers from the opinions and disorders jumping on the thread and display their regular adolescent stupidity here as well.
That’s a bit much to expect, lol, the toilet has over flowed to here a bit already.
Any way, the club has changed a bit since it’s hey day of the biggest, still, back than as is now, one aspect of it has always been in play, recreational collecting of the members own aquarium species, both fresh and salt.
The interest in the freshwater side of things has gone and it’s all about marines now.
The fish and inverts we collect for our selves or each other, survive or don’t as well as any other aquarium bought species, though quite often better!
Two of us used to put our collecting trip pics out there on the net to share, entertain and get some interest in the collecting adventures of our Brisbane south areas club,it’s just me these days, Phil has health issues.
I hope this helps your forum in some way and as this type of thing is designed to do, maybe a little club promotion!
These are just a few of the lovely fish species common we encounter on the club or members collecting trips.

Even the nasty ones.
If any one wants to question any legalities of recreational collecting of fish and corals we have up to date authority contact details to check with and all the links to the regulations on any forms of collecting.
