Hey peeps,
Decided to make a journal to document my progress and show some reefing prawn.
I took a risk and ordered a aquarium set off eBay and it turned up at 11pm at night two days later.
My plan is to use Red Sea NO3PO4x with ZEObak along with KZ sups.

Looks like a nice tank mate.
Why not use Zeostart3 which is the KZ equivalent of NO3PO4X?
Much cheaper in the long run than Red Sea and if your already using other KZ supps, probably a better option.

I find start3 a lot more stable as well, nopox seems a bit a mad man

Mad man? you mean just have to be accurate?

I found that i would have constant levels be dosing the same amount feeding the same amount, then one series of tests id have nutrient overload, id increase the dose by 5% then id have so little nutrients my lps and softies were shriveling. One month id seem to have a surplus of nitrate the next phosphate.

I was given 5l of the stuff when it first came out and gave it a run for about two years and never in that time felt had that security to set and forget with it.

I used zeo start 3, per ml it seems alot more expensive but you use alot less and it seems to come out in the wash

Start3 is more forgiving when you forget to dose it or if you need to change the dosage...it doesnt smell as cool as NOP0X does lol.

No but really, the zeo 14-day cycle went well for me :)

I saw this post on the home page so havent checked out your journal so excuse this question if its answered elsewhere, but where did the tank come from looks cool but looks from overseas from the boxes just interested :)

EDIT: Just saw it was from eBay...got a link? it looks class...comparable to cade the stand too..you've done well (not knowing the price of course)

Your going to much more impressed when i tell you the price. $449 + $129 shipping from Sydney. Was going to buy a cade tank but I've done the 2ft cube before.

It looks like @MTG with a weir sump and proper stand, would have saved matty alot of work

Lucky my sump is totally different, I got quoted 1100 from the original place i saw them.

It should be ok but there isnt any mesh inserts to stop any carbon escaping if it grinds down into smaller particles and can cause some issues
