funds dont allow for LEDS atm lol im looking at making a custom hood either out of timber or aluminum not sure how the aluminum as salt water would work together and weather it would affect water parameters. im well aware of electrolysis with saltwater and aluminum.

If you are looking at the controllable Tunze, I would suggest 2 x 6055's - these are rated for 1,000 - 5,500 l/h each.

@VaultBoy has 2 of these in a 200l (??) tank I think.

For your size I would personally go two mp10 vortechs, or if you want tunze go two 6055 and controller

I have 2 x 6055's in my 200L tank and they are great. They run up to 70% - 80% pulses and give me quite a high flow through out the tank. If they were any higher there would just be a sand storm.
