i think there is a means of getting the embroidery done cheap-recently we had some shirts for a cricket tournament embroidered with sponsor details etc. will chase up if people are interested. i think from memory it was the first one that cost-which was to set-up then a few $$$ each for each embroidery.
Just a quick update for this, they are still on their way......

Ok we just received our inspection report yesterday and all seems to be good overall. We were told the shipment would be ready on the 14th but there were delays with the inspection company we hired to pull random containers of our shipment and inspect for quality control. The inspection went well and passed with minimal problems, this does not mean the towels are perfect, this just gives us some comfort that we will not end up with a huge shipment of poorly made towels. Attached you will find a few images of some tests performed. The report included a total of 41 pages!
Unfortunately this shipment is going via vessel by sea. I even tried to negotiate partial shipment by air. Just not happening. We were told by several different sources that is should not be problem but the factory refuses to ship this way. We are hesitant to use a freight forwarding company just because we don't want any lost boxes or mishaps. The way we are shipping, the factory will be responsible for any errors or missing boxes.
It looks like the actual packages should be leaving the port by the 26th. I will keep you all notified once we get more information or once the shipment sets sail. Thanks to everyone for your amazing patience. I know I could post more updates but being a backer of many projects myself it tends to get annoying when there are constant updates when nothing has really changed. I like to post updates with value. In the future if anyone has questions or wants to check if anything has changed please send me a email directly Chuck@laceanchors.com and I will be sure to respond. I don't frequent Kickstarter to often due to a busy schedule so I may miss comments or messages for a extended period. Thanks again everyone! Can't wait to get your Clingies™ out!
Heres a few picture of the double sided tape we decided to use. The red dots are actually the clear stretchy material which is actually removable without leaving residue or ruining what is has been stuck to. We have tested these all throughout my personal home and have had success but I would still take caution with anything you stick on your walls, furniture or cabinetry.
The white dots are the foam style double sided tape which are for a permanent stick. These will leave behind part of the double sided tape and are very sticky after settling for a day or 2. Use these with caution!

Ok so I just received the confirmed completion date of September 14 which is great! I did receive mid production run samples and the quality was much better than the last company and almost spot on. There are some minor things on a few towels that I saw but nothing most will even notice. I did however let the manufacturer know about my concerns and they are being resolved, pretty much me just being picky.
The negative news is I have yet to confirm air or sea shipping. I have supplied all the information needed in order for them to ship by air but at this point they said it's still shipping by sea. I am keeping my fingers crossed we here something differently by the completion date because shipping by sea will add 3-4 weeks before getting them in our hands :(
I have all of the Docking Dots and Double sided tape on hand and will start presorting them so they are ready to ship once the towels arrive. We are supplying you guys with 2 different double sided tapes. 1 is more of a foam material that is a more permanent solution, the other is a more rubberized material that is great for removing from surfaces like cabinets, walls, etc. They are all die cut round and ready to apply to the dots.
I will shoot some picture and post an update while presorting and getting them ready for shipping over the next couple days.
