Hello @Miller
I enjoyed the zeovit system for the fact that its a bullet proof way to keep SPS alive.
Bullet proof only due to maintaining a routine.
I got tired very quickly about the daily pumping the stones routine to the point of seldom pumping them. A couple of observations about the stones was their effect on coral. Upon changing fresh stones or when the zeolite expired there would always be a certain amount of RTN or STN on the SPS.

Since removing the zeolite I have not observed the RTN or STN.

Do you still use the other products just not the stones now?

Great question mate, master @MTG put me onto a product called Brightwell Phosphate E . My guess is that it's a lanth based product.....
I am really satisfied with its performance and never looked back.
I put a few drops in the skimmer occasionally and watch it work it's magic.

I use other Brightwell products, mainly their food range and iodine.
I have my zeo products on hand to use when the colours of SPS tell me they need a boost.
My belief is first provide an excellent ASW salt to maintain your reef. The rest falls into place without all the extra dosing and tweaking.

Oh yeh does that control nitrates aswell?
Also what salt mix are you using?
I'm starting to think about going asw because of how far away all the nsw dealers are

Well, I haven't tested my reef for months.
Never tested the nitrates either.
I dose the zeo Bac occasionally say once fortnightly for nitrate control due to the age of the tank.
I am a full believer in a bacteria driven system.

Yep I hear u there
That's what I'm after a system that sustains its on biological balance with minimal additives and medias to remove the nastys
Heard Red Sea coral pro can be a bit hi in phos? Guess u don't have any problems with that

Well I don't think the salt is the cause of phos, my belief is the phosphate issues come from feeding the fish. I swear by using New Life Spectrum food. In fact any feedings coral/fish will cause phos IMO.
Was worst when I used Reef Roids.

I would not worry too much. Your bacteria population will grow to the amount of food you have available to give them. So in other words stay consistent and they will cope.

Lol, about to clean the filter sock in a minute.
This tank is in great condition, the zoas are even growing on the substrate .
