A mixed blessing for you, you are shite at taking photos and its looks ten times better in person mate, sarphire weir with polished edges is just showing off though

Reef porn at its best!! Looks stunning. Starfire weir. Yum any reason you didn't just go standard glass with black perspex? Usually looks neater but now your just showing off. :) id be very happy with it mate!

I actually didn't ask for starfire weir or for the back pane to be in starfire either, he just did it!!

The starfire bracing looks unreal though, pretty damm happy with how it turned out..the guy who built it can be very hit and miss, on this occasion he managed to do a great job.

So did matt do you plumbing? looks really tidy, the the stand pipe going to be turned into a durso?

three reactor? so biopellets with the efulent into the skimmer, rowaphos and carbon?

What are you going to do with the center chamber?

Nah I did the plumbing, im not too shabby if you ask me ;) yep the standpipe in the weir is going to be a durso and the other one the full siphon. Three reactors to rule them all :) pellets in the octo one, rowaphos in the second one and rowacarbon in the third one. The purigen will go in the filter socks in the little bags they come in.

The middle chamber I was going to pack out with Live Rock and throw some macro in there as well

Here are some pics of the tank as of yesterday. Still have to get the weir box cover made up, finish the aquascape in the middle of the tank and add salt to the RO thats taking forever to fill up!

to get spread from the new gen illumagics they need to be raised fairly high, i have mine like 40cm off the water that gives me 2 foot spread easy, extremely tight optics,
