The powerheads. I have decided not to put them in the Edge, but rather leave them for something else.

I purchased some candy cane today, it looks really nice. There is a little crab in there, but he wont come out long enough for me to take a photo. As soon as there is light he is gone.

No, that is a candy cane, I have one exactly the same.

I have dumped mine over the back at the moment. I have a worm of some sort that burrows down between the heads and eventually kills the head. You can see part of it of a night time - they are in about 5 different spots on the coral. I am planning to frag it as part of the comp and throw away all the bad bits - new heads are growing in other places.

Sorry mate, just realised there was a crab in the picture :DIt's claws don't look like the acro crabs that I have - this is one for the good doctor I think dr_schell.

Don't think it is a crab, looks to be a shrimp of some sort. A little hard to tell from the pic.

Heya mate :)

I am now using NSW so no more buying salt. It is easier and cheaper.
Water changes vary, usually a 1/4 water change once a fortnight. I sometimes do a 80% water change once a month, but only if I do not have time. I just purchased a coral goby too, but he is hidden away in the rockwork and I have not seen him since I put him in (this afternoon). Hopefully this is normal.
