Had to use the flash for the fish pics - the tank lights where off at this stage.

And you are right dr_schell - the purple tang is a great looking fish.

I wasn't sure about buying the tang , But i'm glad i did he's a great little fish :) and quick :eek

the first dorsal ray is not elongated on the mandarine = female. Males are larger (up to twice the size) and have a long fist spine to the dorsal fin. Males also tend to have more green/blue and less orange

A very high tech system to hang them Matt ;)
siting on some timber that is running the width of the tank , Not as good as some,
But It suits me.......Cant really be seen and lets me move the lights easy , Or slide them one way for a week or so
