Very slick mate. I like the style of the cabinet, thinking of a similar thing for me next build.

Is that a stainless frame in there?

Cheers cost a mint lol

No this is all wood, that's just a SS kick panel for aesthetics. My last frame was 316 SS

Still using my ATI on this tanks.

LED are crap, less PAR insufficient spectrum and dull. My brother runs a vertex illumina and we had a light pro do the testing with $20k of equipment to prove it.

Dave has done an awesome job on the tank man. Are you using the same sump?

hmm ok lets see what other members think on leds i know there is some awesome ones out there matt is a good one to ask :)
T5 all the way, so hard to beat T5 for performance. I've used MH T5 and LED and under LED the whole tank died, needless to say I wont use it ever again.

i have seen a few nice SPS reefs using leds but in saying that i have often seen alot of hardcore sps uses go back to halide/t5, i love halides and t5 although i dont love the power consumption and bulb replacement costs!!
t5's and halides provide a much fuller spectrum then the current led units on the market. although alot of company's are now experimenting with red leds etc so things may look up in the future.
in saying that i would never go back to halide or t5 the pros outway the cons for me.

Tank will be a ripper ryan ;)

bah... bummer. Was hoping that it would be the perfect RX. You know the type. The one were you never have to clean a pump, you can whisper to it what flow rate you want and it'll adjust itself and if you forget to pump it then it'll just do it for you....

Shame about needing a mod. If that's the case then no point changing and should just stick to the vertex you reckon?
