Your mission this weekend is to install a 8x2x2 full marine system into your lounge.
Updates are required by 21:00hrs Sunday 09/09/12.

:)
Well the good news is all went well with the Tank move.

Huge thanks to Sarg, Salty, George, Ernie from Reeflections and the Tank builder for helping with it. Everything went smoothly.

Also an extra mega thanks to Salty who put on my Black backing on the tank, absolute Perfectionist! :worship

Have to mention that the tank is built beautifully and if your after a new tank go see Ernie at Reeflections, you wont be disappointed :)

Tank is sitting pretty on top of the stand, and sump has been installed as well. All plumbing is completed, which took me all of last night.

I have spent half the day today on the aquascaping and still not finished/satisfied :(. What a PITA!

Im hoping to get the scape completed by Monday, then just need a few bits and pieces to get it ready to fill.

I have decided to fill it with RO from my Laundry so will take approx 4 days to fill it. :D .

Thanks Ken for your offer of the IBC but I decided the $100 for 1000l of RO is better spent on new filters for my RODI unit ;)

Here's a couple of pics from the tank move, thanks to Sarg for taking them. I will take some pics tomorrow of the aquacape etc;

Ok, 2 acrylic rods, drill, 5 boxes of DD Putty, 3 of Aquaneedit, 4 bottles of Zap extra thick CA and finally got my Aquascape done to my liking.:p

I May do some final touches before i fill it up but im very happy with what i have.

Plenty of overhangs, frag mounting spots and open spaces which is what i set out to achieve.

Its very hard to see the detail in the following pics, the rock sort of blends in photo's.

Just waiting on the arcylic for the weir and a few more bags of Aragonite, then filling time :D .

Progress pics;

Pretty cool idea with the filter socks! How much rock did you end up using? Any pics of the equipment in the other end of the sump?

There is approx 90-100kg of rock. Will get more photos once the other equipment is installed ;) the only other thing in there is the return pump, reactors will be setup during the week.
