Time for a little update.
My system has suffered from a Cyano outbreak for the past 5 weeks. Daily dosing of Coral Snow, Zeozym, Zeobak and Biomate have pretty much rid the tank of it.
Dosing these along with Zeostart has kept my Nutrients very, very low and lost a couple of frags due to starvation. I also have a few corals washed out on me due to this too.
But things in the past week have improved so i thought it was time to add in more corals.
I have pretty much got most of the corals i want in my tank now. About 80% of the SPS in my system are from frags. I got most of my corals thus far from Dave at Extreme Reef, Reeflections and Reef Secrets. IMO, these guys continually get the best stock in OZ.
Even after adding heaps of corals, It looks very bare! I am though leaving room for the colonies to grow out in. I dont want 50 different acro colonies all jammed up like a fruit stand but rather 20 or so larger ones.
Fish I have added over the past month include my Achilies Tang, Power Blue Tang, 2 x Bartletts Anthias (Want more but nobody can get them for me :( ), Mystery Wrasse, Melanarus Wrasse and a big MF Lawnmower Blenny named 'Benny' :D
I have in QT due to come out next weekend, 3 x Yellow tangs and a Pair of Snowflake Clowns.
Only thing i want to add is 6 more bartlets and possibly a Crosshatch Trigger.
Anyway not much to look at for the moment, but here are a few shots i took last night under Royal Blue, Blue and UV LED lights running at 30% Brightness.
