Mine is about 800L , Maybe a tad over after displacement
all the great zeo tanks like alexander and aged salt run 10-20% more zeolites for extra benefical mulm and bacteria holding. if you rx allows add an extra 200-400ml of lites with your next exchange and adjust the flow accordingly.

would you only want to run a system like this if your wanting a heavy stocked coral tank? Definitely for the advanced keeper

Because as with any bacterioplanktonic system, it works better with a higher bioload.

And works better in an sps specific tank as apposed to an lps specific or soft coral tank?

What LPS or soft coral would be found in even remotely the kinds of conditions that a carbon system creates...?

I thought I would add to the this thread as I am undertaking a Hybrid Zeo Method :)

600ltr Tank
Oversized Skimmer (BM NAC220-CS)
close to 80kg total of Live rock in display in sump

Dosing:

ZeoBak 6 drops per week (Mon/Thur)
Bio-Mate 6 drops per week (Tue/Fri)
ZeoFood 7 6 drops per week (Tue)
Coral Snow Daily

Also running:

600ml Vertex Bio Pellets heavy tumbling with outlet to inlet of Skimmer
250g of RowaCarbon
120ml of RowaPhos (I am going to remove this next water change)

Have done a heap of reading over on the zeovit forum on people that advocate the use of BP's and zeo and those that dont think the systems should be crossed. Makes for an interesting read.

Always had it in the back of my mind to hybridizethe two methods. There are some great hybrid tanks out there, IMO I think bio pellet tanks just could have the edge in regard to stocking levels of fish.

I tried BP with prodibio ,
I left the Rowaphos in for an extra month , I thought as it shouldn't re-release phosphate back into the water ,
Over time it will get less and less effective , letting the pellets take up the extra slack a bit slower , I didn't get that large first spike of phosphate during the change over ,

Mind you , I'm sure you don't have the amount of phosphate leach that i had / have :eek :(

I must be at the end of it soon tho :D
