I ran mine on P1 all day..... Just punched in S2 and all the coral "pop" like an explosion of colour... You will have to try that when you get your C models Luke...BTW you can change all the values on S1,2,3.
I really like the factory default value of S2

Hi Luke,

I know what you mean mate.... Those modes, Sunny Hot ,Sunny warm, Cloudy dont exist anymore with the new Advance Controller.( they were factory preset modes on the ALC version)
They are now replaced by P1 (Programable)P2 and P2+lightning.
S1, S2, S3 are all Static modes, in other words they dont ramp up or down.
The beauty of the new P1 and P2 etc is that you can now program your curve/ramping to what ever you like for each segment of the day.
This will enable you to put in different values too, and therefore you could get a cooler/warmer colour temperature or you could put in a dimmer value and thus simulate a cloud passing.
Studys have shown that clouds passing or even different wave amplitude can stimulate zooxanthellae reproduction.

Thanks mate ,
I dont think i will be setting it at 100 % for a while, i replaced a 250w halide with a 10k globe , Seems brighter than that for sure
So now its next to a 150w Cree BSLED with 3w diodes ,

hows it compare for brightness next to that? in theory the bsled should be heap brighter using the amount of power it does?
