I will actually take a FTS this week, I'm actually happy with the tank. I manually removed as much caulpera from the DT as I could and introduced a foxface to the tank, not a magnificent like I was chasing though as it was a bit of a "fed up with the algae getting pissed off" decision. I am happy with this decision though as he has smashed every single little bit of algae in the tank.
I stopped running biopellets nearly a month back also, I dont believe my tank had enough of a nitrates to need them. I was having a few small nigling problems I couldnt really explain and small out breaks of cyno, bits the size of 50c piece which I have never had in either of my tanks. So I have gone back to a KISS routine, rowaphos and 100L a week water changes. Wish I could do bigger changes but using ASW it starts to become a bit too expensive for my current budget.
Come tax time an ATI 6x54w sunpower will be hanging above this tank also.

my last 2 of 5 anthias, 3 have gone carpet surfing. I believe my wrasse chases them out of the tank
lobo I picked up a few months back
and a couple of growth shots, progress has been slow. I had a huge alk swing where my alk went below 4 for about 2 weeks after I stupidly turned my dosing pump off but forgot to turn it back on, and there was about a month periods where no water change was done at all.
