I ve put more legs inside the stand to make it stronger (i did use screws)

And made a frame using pine less than $2 for a piece

The cuts r not the best, had to use wood filler and sanding later on

Working on the stand during day time on the weekend i removed all old silicone(inside) during evenings. Took a while, there was chunks and chunks to remove, the previous owner must have tried to cover up a leak or something. didn't take photos. Got it resealed and was bitting my nails till i got it on the stand to check for leaks.
More work to the stand.....
Covered the back and decided to put a flat thick plywood on top to distribute the weight evenly to the legs

Nice work on that stand, looks very sturdy!
Thanks. Stand is strong enough, my worry from the start was that i live in a wood framed old house.:( Asked a few guys around and also a builder that the real estate ppl sent to repair a window, and they all reckon it should hold the tank fine...i ll be only filling it a bit more than 3/4. so ya...:)
