I ve put pvc pipes inside the stand...nothing fancy, Overflow and return....I wish i had more money(This tanks worth more than my car, u know what i mean) so that i ll have the sump that i want a 3ft with :( .......anyway this is what i ve got for the time. i put in a plastic container in there in the bio balls compartment to put some live rock? and two filter socks.

My plan was to make proper doors (As if with a frame and all....)but along the way, i realized my carpentry skills are not to the expectations,
so got this bloke at bunnings to cut two doors(square plywood pieces) for me.

Painting timeee......The pics after painting and door knobs($1.70)...i ve outlined the tank with black matt stickers so it gives a modern look and will close that gap on top cos i will only be filling it 3/4.....

Cos I m really worried abt da weight, it s a quite old house, I dnt own it,
filling up 3/4 will not make a bigg diff, but now once I put it on da spot, I realised this is nt the tank for the place, I shud hv gone for the 3ft 1.5ft,(not only cos of weight) no way I can change to tht now.

Weight is spread out over a decent area so unless boards are rotten it should be ok, I put a similar size tank on 50 year old floor boards but do check they are sound first. Maybe someone in the housing or aqu industry might be able to advise more for your peace of mind though.

ya i did go underneath the house and looked my self, It looks alright. The wood is in good condition. :)

Added 20kg coral sand, filled it up let it sit for a couple of days and the salt finally arrived today. Warm day chucked a sicky, added the salt and started the sump

Ok this is my overflow, I m not really sure if this is the best way to do it, got the idea from a youtube clip, but he had longer pipe the width of the tank. fingers crossed don't know what problems it will cause me in the future....so far it does the job, very quite.

I m not too sure about this sump, aaaaaanyway....

All in the tank, and the cycle starts, gonna go to the aquarium and get some more rocks to the sump in a while.

4th Day of the cycle, there are some algae growing on the rocks(I know this might have been discussed a million times on the net) Here r some pics to be specific. Should i just let it sit for couple more weeks and now worry about it or? Thanks.
