Only two corals attached to the rocks successfully, and one is noticeably growing. (its a frag from one of the fags i got, it didn't attach to the rock, so i divided it to 3 smaller frags and left one on top of a main rock and it attached.

The Xenia, kind of disappeared from the original rock, and have spread on the tank sand bed, and they are growing....so gonna let them be till they get to a decent size and glue them again.:banghead

Nah you have to join Reeflections. It's $35 a year and you get 5% off plus nsw or ro for $2 a drum. If your free on Thursday night there is the first Thursday of the month BBQ plus the unpacking of how ever many boxes of fish and coral he gets in. It's on station st moorabin.

Yeah it's worth joining just for the cheap water, I get all my RO and NSW from there. The 5% discount on fish/corals doesn't go far but adds up I guess.

If you can't make Thursday nights, pop in Friday morning or Saturday morning for the decent leftovers ;)

I went down to reflections, became a member, got a few drums and had a look, the tank at the back is nice :rolleyes. Didn't even look at the corals. not.
@macca_75, did a 50% water change and these are the results now.
P.H - 8.2
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrare - 20
Phos - 0.25
KH - 9
Salt - 1.026
As for the corals, the xenia i got from rob recently have shrunk to 1/2 the size it was and the frags are the still the same size. I have given up on this tank, got too many fish for the tank atm, with s@#tty gear i guess. Thinking about to close this tank and start again from scratch, a bit smaller reef tank.

the size of the tank means nothing, it may just be a case of what is in it, what you are running and what your other parameters are. The glass it sits in wont be effecting it!

If you want to start over, get some 'better' gear in and re start the current tank? Smaller can be harder as well :)

Hey Kavi,

We can get it back on track. If Reeflections is hard for you to get to for water, you can get it from me. I have it delivered in 2000l batches so you'd pay what I pay. I'm not trying to take any business from Ernie and the crew, but I want to make sure you have access to plenty of water cheaper than $5 a drum.

Plenty of water changes will keep most things in check.
