OK. 6-7 weeks in and results of the basic program are amazing. Blue sps is increasing in colour each week. Growth has increased and polyps are generally improved in extension.Dosing regime.1L of stones in reactor 395L per hour flow. Pumped morning an night. 0.3ml zeostart3 moring and night. 3 drops of zeobak every monday and thursday. Its pretty easy. Other changes is I've started using bright well neomarine salt. I find this cleaner that redsea coral pro (which i also got a 0.08 phos reading off)here is a pic the blue sps on the right is now quite blue. PS i need a camera other than my iPhone.

Great results, I assume you only need to purchase a reactor and pump, however can you do a quick calc on running costs of zeo products based on a 4 ' tank :)

yes just a pump and reactor. $62 online fish street. It terms on cost. The additives needed are,1kg of stones changed every 6 weeks. $17 (1kg is for 400L) ($2.80 a week)100ml zeobac $70 i think. 3 drops every monday and thursday (1600 drops = 0.04cents per drop) (30cents a week)250ml of zeostart $45, 0.6ml used each day ($1.26 a week)Jen and Ken have these products and can do an order for you. The prices are off the top of my head and may be over or under but its close to it think.

I'm confused @OSCAR85 ... I have the exact same tank and yet I dose 0.4ml twice daily and 4 drops of zeobak ... I noticed your only doing 0.3ml twice daily and 3 drops.

Where did you get your dosing regime from?

What's your net water volume?

It's supposed to be 1 drop / 0.1ml per 100 litres as mine is 396l (net) I dose 4 drops and 0.4ml

That's the information Gordon gave me on the Zeovit forum.

My net water volume is about 420L i reckon. Well if its working for you i suppose continue it. Not sure who Gordon is. I thought the zeo rep was Alexander.

It might explain why I'm getting some excessive macrofauna growth though .... I'm going to drop mine down to 0.35ml 2 x daily for a few weeks and see what happens.
