Heated and Bent into shape 3mm Black perspex.... Slides in and out if need be... From the side you can see it doesn't extend full width (never get it out then) so it fixed the ugly white PVC pipe work from showing and is a non-permanent fixture...quite happy with the results!!

There is about half a dozen of us that own up to being in the shire and everyone seems to help everyone out really well, we take turns are guarding the bridges to keep leodb89 and LEG-IT out but they still manage to find their way in

Cleaned all glass & scraped algae off, seems to be coming under control a bit better now...

Levels are as follows:
Ph 7.8 (API)
Ammonia 0 (API)
Nitrite 0 (API)
Nitrate 4.0ppm (red sea)
Phosphate between 0.16 & 0.08 ppm so 0.12ppm (red sea)
Kh 7 dkh (red sea)
Calcium 430 ppm (red sea)
Magnesium 1400 ppm (red sea)
Salinity 1.024
Temp 26.5


Anyone want to offer advice/comments on the lighting as I am a noob at it/setting it up/programming it????


Maxspec LED is programmed to:
10:00 0% white / 1% blue
13:00 35w / 50b
16:00 60%w / 80% b
18:00 100% w / 100% b
20:00 50% w / 70% b
21:30 0% w / 1% b

Changed the 160w 3 unit LED for 2x 120w 2 unit LED still Maxspec Razors....
Ghetto stand atm (2x4's) am designing some acrylic stands to be machined from 20mm perspex

are there any rail mounting kits for your new lights? or you hanging from the roof? look like they have a heap of potential but seem to be too bright atm haha
