So yesterday I got a delivery from @dr_schell of some turbos, and some GSP. :)

Then today after work I picked up a Stromb from Lifestyle Aquarium (right near work, which is very handy), and then went out to @TheJordans to pick up some yellow-footed hermits. Bek also gave me a little bit of macro to add to my sump. :)

All the help and donations of CUC is much appreciated guys.

I'll pay it forward when I can.

My tank seems to have had an outbreak of pods in the last 24 hours.

They are everywhere on the opposite end of the tank to the wavemaker all over the glass.

I also noticed a mostly black(with white frills) nudbranch, and what looks to be baby snails also on the glass.

Critters everywhere.

@dr_schell, you may be able to tell me off the top of your head whether the nudibranch is a good or bad citizen of the reef. Mostly black with a white/yelling outline on it's frill. I'll try to get a picture if I can find it again.

Haha well, there are a LOT of species of nudibranch. Check out this list and see if you spot yours: http://www.seaslugforum.net/specieslist.htm

Apart from the Berghia nudibranch (which eats aiptasia!), I don't believe there are any 'good citizens', in that they either eat what they should not (eg zoas), or will die of starvation in an aquarium (eg eat sponges). The Doc might prove me wrong though ;)

Nudibranch feed on a wide range of substances, ranging from soft corals, through to hard corals, anemones, incl. tube anemones, aptasia, ascidians, other nudibranch, sponges and filamentous algae. As with any group, there are some species that make great additions, but most have specialised feeding requirements and will perish in most aquariums. Bright colours in this group of animals indicate that they are distasteful.

Have taken a few quick snaps this arvo, and when I walked into the fish room, I saw this bloke. Looks like I am in need of one of Dr Schell's traps.

But the good thing is, the pods, and tiny little critters(white specs) all over the glass and weir wall. They are everywhere in this end of the tank.
