the place looked like a D-grade porno scene:eek

I have to ask how you know what a scene from a D Grade porno looks like.

I have many dislikes, most covered here. But cyclists is the top of my list. The 1's that ride in these packs of 20 or so, around the streets at 5.30am yelling and screaming to each other.

I crossed a road when going for a morning walk 1 day and they were heading along the main road. I crossed over on a side street and they all turned there. No idication to me they were turning and yet they abuse me?

Having your flat mate wake you up at 630 on a sunday morning saying "you had better come outside" lying in bed my girlfriend (wife now) said "have we been robbed" and i said "the f@#ken fishtank". 2 inches left in the 6 footer... living in a unit... top level.... entire lounge room wet... hallway wet... water flowing under the front door and down the main stair well..... the man with the water removal truck cranking his LOUD bloody machine in the nice little carpark out the back with carports down either side just to make it a touch LOUDER with the echo for all the loverly residents to wake up to at roughly 715.... then the guy living under us coming up to check it out and show me it had found its way through the concrete floor and into his lounge room and cd collection.... then the carpet being ripped up to put big blowers underneath to dry it out at $40 per blower per day... then the musty smell that hung around for weeks... then the fact that it was owned by the now inlaws which lived in a unit on the second floor :eek

A few of mine:

- People who refuse to restart their PC before calling me to fix their PC. I restart it and voila! PC fixed .. ITS NOT HARD, most PC issues can be resolved with restarting the computer.

- People who make the same mistake over and over again because for some dumb reason they think repearting the mistake will give them a different outcome to the last time.

- People who say " My Computer is not working " and leave it at that!! WHATS NOT WORKING!! specifics people, im not a mind reader!!

- People drive in the right hand lane and are not overtaking! On most highways there are usually BIG F!$%King signs that say " Keep LEFT unless overtaking " are they stupid as well as illiterate?

- People who constantly post that they are having issues with their tank but fail to listen to advice and repeat their mistakes again .. this leads me back to point 2.

Im sure there are more but someone has just sent me an email to ask me to look at their computer, so raging again at the moment

i think i can pretty easily sum up my dislikes and pet peeves as the following:
PEOPLE!.

not 1 or 2 or 3 persons .. as when you get to know them or even deal with them as a stranger 1 on 1 there is a good chance that they can act like a responsible human.. but when a bunch of persons get together and become people.. that is when S__t gets serious..

So.. the People at my local shopping centre "Chadstone" , the people at the supermarket .. the people on the road (cars, bikes and ped's).. the people at the cinema.. (i havnt been to a movie in years because of people.)

JUST PEOPLE!

one exception. when a sole person is a customer.. they suck too.. :)

This is actually illegal in most states. Fines and demerits can apply, and if your a repeat offender you can lose your license. It annoys the Christ outta me too.. Also big rigs who attempt to overtake each other in the only overtaking lane within 20 kays.. Guys your speed limited to 100, you ain't gonna beat eachother!

People who wait until the first day of the busiest few weeks of my year to start logging requests for my help (when said busy period is doing other things)! Why not last week? Why not 3 days ago?

Yes - this is very true, but have you ever seen someone pulled over by the police because of this reason?

A few of Jen's little gripes!!

People who decide to speed up when you begin over-taking them.
People who make right hand turns from the left side of the road - and turn left from the right hand side of the road - that's why there are turning lanes people!
People who do 10 kms UNDER the speed limit
People who simply refuse to do the speed limit
People who can't read speed limit signs!
Cyclists who think they own the road and think you ain't gonna hit them :p (being a Sales Rep out on the road, all day every day, in a company vehicle, like I'd care)
Aquariums who don't listen to what you have asked - when a simple yes or no would suffice
When you know more than the person who is spinning crap to you at the aquarium
People who don't return phone calls - sms's or PM's
PEOPLE WHO THINK THEIR SHIT JUST DON'T STINK!

I could go on for ever like everyone else, I'm starting to stress myself out and getting a headache just thinking about all this!

Cheers - Jen

What about those of us on our L's, i know i do less than the speed limit, but i am quite stingi on the gas too, only because I've only driven for 4 hours.
You know what thats something that pisses me off. Arses out there who see your a L plate driver so they decide to tailgate you and honk their horn at every intersection.

I've never understood why people are stupid enough to tailgate learner drivers. L platers are the one type of driver out there that should be reasonably expected to do the wrong thing at the worst possible time in traffic, so it's incomprehensible that anyone would get too close to them. Unless you're driving too slow on the open road, and you're being a pain in the ass to pass, in which case, ya know....

yea, thats true, there are some L's out there who delibereatly do that just for the sake of it.
But most of us are good. haha

I have to say that the "responsible licensed supervisor" is usually at fault in the L platers case..

The RLS should be suggesting to the learner that they are welcome to drive at any safe and legal speed they want to .. BUT should consider doing this in the left hand lane if there is one available.. if not.. keep an eye on the MIRRORS and pull over to let anyone who wants to go faster past..

just because you are well within your rights to take learning how to drive at your own pace.. (and i actually admire this) it doesnt mean that the People (theres that group that i commented about earlier) behind you should be made to do the same. and if you make it easy for them to get past.. they wont be behind you stressing you out and forcing mistakes..

I respect learner drivers.. i LOVE the ones with decent instructors / supervisors..

I'm a learner driver, too. Tho I suspect I'm a tad older than most of you other learners on here. I don't like driving. I can operate a forklift and unload trucks. I can weld. I can touch type and fix most problems that go wrong with my computer. I can cut and color my own hair. I can educate myself about any subject I choose and I can get on with most work collegues. I currently work in a heavy industry job.
But I hate driving. It makes me nervous and I feel that if I am nervous, that makes me a potentially unsafe driver. Which makes me more nervous. I am happy to walk, ride a bike, catch a lift or pay for a bus or taxi. So I get quite irritated with people, who go on about global-warming, the horrendous cost of fuel and pollution in general, then go on to tell me I must get my license - hurry up and get it - have you got your license? - have you done anything about your license yet? - nagnagnagnag:mad: The pressure makes me even more nervous and stressed. And seems just a little hypocritical - I am doing my bit to reduce fuel pollution!!
(and yes, I know most jobs require a license which is why I will capitulate and get it. But it grates. I hate being bullied into things:mad:)

Im with you on this bit 100% i cant get any hours up because mum wont let me drive untill i have my own car, then when i ask her to take a loan out for me to get one (or become benificary), she just goes nope do it yourself, and nowdays you cant get any type of loan untill you earn $29,500, which i think is bull if you want a 5k loan.
So all in all i wont be getting my licence untill I've finished school and uni, and got a job that earns over 40k a year
